Security & Data Handling
How MyTrimTeam Handles Operational Data
MyTrimTeam is designed to help licensed cultivation teams manage post-harvest operations with strong attention to data security, access control, and responsible system design.
Built for operational visibility • designed with compliance boundaries in mind
Our Approach
MyTrimTeam is an operational planning and workforce coordination platform designed for licensed cannabis cultivators and the teams that support post-harvest operations.
The platform is designed to improve production visibility, labor coordination, and harvest planning without replacing regulatory compliance systems.
Data We Handle
Depending on the features in use, MyTrimTeam may store or process operational data such as:
- User account and profile information
- Organization, site, and team information
- Shift schedules and workforce participation records
- Production and post-harvest workflow records
- Operational reporting and planning data
- Support and communication submissions
We design our systems to limit access to the data needed for platform functionality and legitimate operational use.
Access Controls
Access to organization data is intended to be restricted to authorized users within the relevant organization or workflow.
MyTrimTeam is designed to support role-based access so that different users, such as administrators, supervisors, workers, and viewers, only access the information appropriate to their role.
We also design the platform to separate organizations from one another so one customer’s data is not exposed to another.
METRC-Related Data
MyTrimTeam is designed to integrate with METRC for approved operational use cases, including data import that supports planning, forecasting, and internal reporting.
MyTrimTeam does not replace METRC and is not intended to create, modify, or submit regulatory compliance records to METRC.
Any METRC integration made available through MyTrimTeam is intended to remain within the scope of approved API access and customer-authorized use.
Data Security Practices
MyTrimTeam is designed to use industry-standard security practices for modern web applications, including encrypted connections, authenticated access, and controlled infrastructure environments.
We seek to limit access to sensitive operational data, maintain auditability for important records, and design our systems to reduce the risk of unauthorized access or destructive changes.
As the platform expands, security practices and controls may continue to evolve based on operational needs, customer requirements, and integration standards.
Operational Record Integrity
MyTrimTeam is being built with a strong focus on traceability and defensible operational records.
Where appropriate, the platform is designed to preserve historical records, support approvals, and maintain auditable workflows so that operational changes can be reviewed clearly over time.
Customer Responsibility
Customers are responsible for ensuring that their use of MyTrimTeam complies with their own legal, regulatory, contractual, and internal operational requirements.
MyTrimTeam is intended to support licensed operators and authorized business workflows, but it remains the customer’s responsibility to determine whether and how the platform fits within their compliance obligations.
